'Concepts' was first established under the name of 'Nooroodin Shaikadam & Co.' in 1907, then specializing in industry imports. Post-independence, the firm went into distribution of indigenously manufactured industrial products. 1995 witnessed the setting up of 'Alcon Sanitations & Industrial Appliances' marking the diversification into the construction products segment. The new firm commenced business with the distribution of various products pertaining to water-supply, drainage and fire-protection.

'Concepts' was born in 2000 and primarily catered to the construction products segment. Diversification into décor products and service contracts segment, namely turnkey designing and installation systems related to any structure has consolidated our position as leading associates to the Mumbai construction industry. Effectively, we have evolved from a distribution organization into an engineering firm
